Suitability for Indoors: Well suited for indoors, when grown in individual pots.

Exposure: Full sun.

What about Grow Lights? Grow lights are not required. However, more productivity can be achieved with a higher intensity grow light.

General Indoor Care: Citrus are in fact easy care plants! Their main requirements are: a bright light, a well draining soil amended with quality compost, a pot well suited to their size, and lots of brightness.

Like all indoor plants, it is best to avoid placing citrus close to heating/cooling vents.

Repot annually to allow plant to reach a reasonable size.

Indoor Container Suggestions: Any pot with excellent drainage. Avoid going too big too quickly. When repotting, follow the 2" bigger rule (i.e. go into a pot just 2" bigger).

Winter Fertilizing: Top dress pots with Sea Soil or worm castings in September, November & January. Resume regular fertilizing starting in March.

Winter Watering: Water approximately once per week (but do not keep soggy)

Special Instructions: Citrus are typically self pollinating, even indoors. There is no great need to play the Q-tip version of "the birds and the bees" for your plants.
