Suitability for Indoors: Can grown indoors under lights or a very bright window.

Exposure: Full sun.

What about Grow Lights? Grow lights can be used to keep plants more active through winter.

General Indoor Care: Plants should be container grown through the summer if you plan on wintering them indoors. Ideally, pots should be moved in by Labour Day weekend. Trim plants back (on vegetative stems; dead-head flowers) as they move inside.

The more light Lion's Ear gets indoors the better.

Indoor Container Suggestions: Any appropriately sized individual container with drainage holes.

Winter Fertilizing: Top dress pots with Sea Soil or worm castings in September and January. Resume regular fertilizing starting in March.

Winter Watering: Water approximately once per week (but do not keep soggy)
