ARUNCUS, MISTY LACE

 Description: A showy perennial for shady gardens, woodland beds, and mixed planters. Red tinged, fern like foliage is crowned by sprays of cream-white flowers in early spring. Misty Lace is a compact, dwarf selection of the normally tall Aruncus.

 Pruning: Seasonal tidying will ensure a healthy, full look. Cut away dead stalks, as this variety regrows from the base.

Growing in Containers:  Not well suited for containers.

Fertilizing (Garden):  Plant in a garden bed recently amended with quality compost. No additional fertilizing is required.

Watering (Garden): Water daily for the first two weeks post transplanting. Plants usually hold their own once well established, but benefit from deep waterings in late summer and fall as plants go into dormancy.
