Description:
A SGH favourite!
Easy to grow in pots or garden. Blooms well into fall, even after frost! Finely cut foliage makes the “Signets” stand out from other marigolds. Mounds of orange, gold and maroon flowers! Heirloom.
Signet Marigolds are particularly good edible flowers, with a citrusy flavour.

Notes:
Marigolds, in particular French Marigolds, are a popular companion plant. The roots exude a chemical which controls soil nematodes, as well as other pests. This insecticidal action, combined with the attractive, easy going nature of Marigolds make them very popular through out the garden - including the vegetable patch.
