Description:
Young leaves have a mild flavour and are used in salad mixes. Flowers and seed pods are also edible. Very attractive - can even be grown in the flower bed!

Germination Instructions:
Germination: 4 - 7 days at 18°C. Keep moist. Best started under lights (16 hours per day). Sowing: Indoors 3 - 4 weeks before last frost. Fertilize with a kelp based fertilizer, such as Sea Magic™ from first watering. Outdoors, sow seeds in spring when soil temperature is between 45°F - 85°F . Sow every two weeks in cooler weather for continual harvest. Provide part shade in hot weather to slow bolting. Sow seeds in late summer sowing for a fall harvest. Planting depth: 1/4” to 1/2“. Spacing: 3” apart in rows 1 - 2’ apart. Thin to 10”.
